It's almost scary to say it outloud...but Cooper is sleeping through the night (KNOCK ON WOOD!) he goes down betwwen 9-10 pm and doesn't get up until 5 or 6 in the morning. Needless to say Mommy feels like a new woman! We try to wake him sometimes and he can't even be bothered. This picture was taken when Shaun and I were trying to wake him up to eat and he was not having it!
Lil Coop is getting so big, he's almost 8 weeks and he's already around 11 pounds. I say around because we are using the very accurate
method of weighing ourselves and then weighing him with us. Our scale is a little crazy but nevertheless he's growing so fast! He holds his head up on his own and is awake a lot more. He has started looking at toys and making more eye contact. He even sits in his Bumbo (best baby invention ever!) now. He looked at the Christmas tree lights (while in his bumbo) for 15 minutes. Then I put it up on the kitchen counter and we sang and talked while I cooked (well mostly I just sang and talked). Cooper sat there listening very comfy in his blue chair. What a great kid!

Oh my gosh, he is so cute. He looks so different now then the last time we saw him. I cannot believe you are getting that much sleep aimee. I on the other hand have been waking up at least three times a night with Ms. Peyton who is always sick! Maybe Cooper can teach her a few things about sleeping through the night and how enjoyable it is.
