Cooper is our little angel. I can't believe how much our lives have changed in the last (almost) four months. Our world revolves around the cutest baby boy ever. It may sound cliche, but it's true...its Cooper's world, we're just living in it!
He is pretty much bald now exept for the little duck tail in the back. It is still long and flowing but the rest of his dark hair fell out. He does have some new hair coming in. It looks considerably lighter than the hair he was born with. (Check out our post from 10-30-06 to compare)
This month we put him on some medicine to help control his acid reflux/spitting up. In conjunction with a lactose free formula we're supposed to see a big improvement. I don't really see one, but we're going to give it one more week. After that, I guess we're just going to have to deal with dressing for rain when we hold him and covering all our furniture (our carpet sure has taken a beating). But I don't really mind as long as he's not in pain. After all, my boy sleeps through the night (yes I know I have mentioned that before) and I am thankful for that every day!!
Tonight was Cooper's first experience with cereal from a spoon. He ate it up (pun intended) and it was a riot to watch him discover there was food in his mouth. The cereal seemed to multiply as he flicked it in and out of his mouth. Of course by the end of it all, the whole family was covered in white gook and we loved every minute of it. After that we took him to the bath and hosed him down. He splashed and cooed and thoroughly enjoyed bath time. It was a shame to take him out! But then we got to the massage. This is Daddy's favorite part. We lotioned him from head to toe and he cooed and laughed and loved his massage (this is out nightly routine). Then he feel asleep eating, like a little angel.
