Tonight Cooper tried something new...peas. He hated them. From the very first bite I was totally cracking up! He's generally a great eater; he'll gobble up what ever you stick in his mouth...until tonight. I put that bite of peas on his lips and immediately his face turned sour and he spit them out. I kept trying with the same result. Eventually (after several pictures, a little video, and after nearly peeing my pants), I gave him a break and switched to bananas. No problema with those. Apparently, we won't be eating peas anymore. He knows what he likes, and it ain't peas. This is the first time he has shown preference...I love it!

Cooper, I love you and I don't like peas either. Aimee, he is so cute, life is so unfair that I'm so far from him, move to New Mexico, Please.
Ummmm, pea soup, pea soup, pea soup.
aimee, I saw your link on amanda's page--so fun! I love blogs. cooper IS a doll.
here is a helpful hint--if you want it--to feeding kids veggies when they have that reaction. pour some of the fruit in a bowl and then add the peas next to it. give bites with half peas and half fruit on the spoon--they'll eat it. then, eventually as long as you give bites of the fruit, you can sneak in bites of just veggies. they'll eat it in anticipation of the fruit.
just in case you cared and didn't know this trick.
Coop, Coop, Coop...if you are ever going to be able to hang out with Peyton you are going to have to learn to eat your peas. Peas are Peyton's favorite vegetable. She also loves pears. Maybe it has something to do with the letter P. Maybe Coop would love Carrots! You are too cute Cooper.
Oh my gosh. That is the cutest little boy I have ever seen. Nobody likes peas. Great game face though. Love you all.
