I can't believe the summer is nearly over! After almost three months off I am starting to get the blues. I love my job! But heading back after such a long break is always hard. This year is worse because of Cooper. How will I survive without him all day?
I have already been back in my classroom a couple of times. It is a little bitter-sweet because the beginning of the school year is always thrilling. There is something about the smell of new supplies and wearing brand-new clothes that is so exciting. I know I am a huge nerd but when I see a can filled with freshly sharpened pencils or see stacks of binder paper waiting to be filled, I get a little high! I took a look at my class roster and I can't wait to meet my students. It is wonderful to have a job that I love!
In fact I love it so much, that I want everyone to enjoy it. My sister Andrea has decided to move to TX and become a teacher. She will be teaching middle school and we are thrilled for her. She graduated (not in education) from GSU and has been working there for a few years. She applied and got accepted into a program here and will be teaching this fall, while she completes her certificate. We are excited to have her here and we know she will be great!
Happy belated birthday to big bro Jerm (aug 1), Papa Harm (July 26) and my little neice Hannah (July 27)we love you and miss you lots!

I sincerely enjoy hearing about my beloved children. But it's time for more info and pics of Coop.
I'll try! And thanks for spell-checking me...I was typing with someone pulling at my leg and crying (Shaun should really get it together!)
I can't begin to tell how much my day is better if my children have blogged. I know I need to get a life. I check my children's blogs 2 maybe 3 times per day. Someone call Jason, Andrea, and Britt and have them update.
More please!
You have had an eventful summer Aimee. I love to hear how excited you get about school. I think it is so cute. I miss that feeling of the first day of school. I guess I will get to experience it again with Peyton.
