Firsts...

Papa visited us on his cross country trip. This was his first visit to see us in Texas. Andrea took a day off and took him to Johnson's Space Center (NASA). Shaun took a day off and took him golfing. We went out to Papasito's (mexican food) and had a great time. It was fun to reminisce and laugh with him. He also brought Andrea and I the necklaces he made from Gammy's ring (my grandmother who passed away in January). The necklace is so beautiful and so precious, I am almost afraid to wear it.

Cooper got his first big boo-boo this last week. He was walking too fast and bent down to get something. He fell into a door and hit his mouth and nose. His nose bled a little and he had a fat lip. It looked pretty gruesome...but he survived.

He also had his first ear infection this week. He got a temp of 103 on Friday so I took a half day and took him to the doctor. She said he had an ear infection and possibly a virus. He was very cuddly and only wanted to be held. I am sad that he is sick but it was nice to spend a day with him. Daddy even took off early and we all hung out together. After two days of anti-biotics he is feeling much better.

I took him on a walk to the park and it started to sprinkle so we headed home. by the time we got to the door we were totally soaked....Cooper's first torrential (slight exaggeration) downpour.

I bought Cooper's first Halloween costume. It didn't really fit well so I had to take it back. Luckily we were able to take this picture because he was not a fan of the earring nor the eyepatch...how cute is our lil first mate? (Papa, notice the "hook em horns" on the left hand!)

Man o Man. I always I knew I had beautiful grandchildren but it amazes me everyday when I see pictures of them. I feel so sorry for other people, becasue I got all the cute ones. I am more fond of pirates than ever before. What an amazing littlle boy. And I might add, My fifth born child who rarely calls me or blogs, you look cute with your short hair. Your parents love you why don't you call sometime?

I love the pirate outfit too. I think he looks adorable. Sorry to hear about the ear infection. It is bound to happen eventually I am just impressed he made it almost a whole year without one.
