It is almost nauseating how good he is at anything physical. He has played basketball and baseball since he was little. He was on a 1990 Little League team that was one game from the World Series. He played both basketball and baseball in high school and was offered scholarships in both. In college, he had to choose one and baseball offered him a full scholarship. So he played college baseball and still holds the Golden Sombrero record at Lamar (heehee) and triples in a season at Galveston. He had an opportunity to play pro baseball but turned it down because the life of a baseball player wouldn't allow him to serve in church and have a family the way he wanted to. I am so proud of him for making that decision. I know it was hard to turn away from his dream. I love him for the strong man that he is and for loving Cooper and I more than he loves himself. Shaun does continue to play both sports on a weekly basis (ugh! I love and hate it) with a couple of city and church leagues. He also coaches baseball and basketball at his old high school and helps coach our nephew's little league team. He loves to stay active and encourages me to stay active too! For the longest time the only thing I could beat him at was backgammon, but now, alas, he beats me at that too!
Shaun serves faithfully in our church as the Elder's Quorum Pres and is always willing to help anyone in need. He is the best father and loves Cooper with all his heart. I love to see them play together and I love the bond they share. There is no one that can elicit a smile and a giggle from our boy like daddy can. He is so good to me and is very helpful around the house. I never ever doubt how much he loves me because he tells me every day! He is my best friend! He is very persistent and works hard for the things that are important to him. He knew we were meant for each other long before I did, he was persistent (even when I tried to run) and here we are four years later blissfully in love (thanks for not giving up). And if all that isn't enough to make you jealous, he does almost all the dishes in our house and puts away the laundry. He is very nearly the perfect husband. I love you! Happy Birday (spelling intended)!

Defintely a great choice on your part Aim. He is a very good son-in-law too, or as I like to call him "the hyman fork lift". Happy Birthday Shaundongo.
I lived up close and personal with him for quite a while, and agree that you got yourself a good one.
Tell him hi for me.
