Last weekend we had our 3rd annual Summer Olympics. It was a blast! We had nine couples that participated in 7 events. They were root beer guzzle, under water breath holding, golf/chipping, basketball around the world (in living room), ping pong, obstacle course, and academic relay. In honor of the Olympic year, everyone represented a country beginning with the same letter as their last name. The teams all dressed in a "uniform" that reflected their country. The countries in attendance were Scotland (us), Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, Barbados, Chile, Wales, Liechtenstein, and Bangladash. We have a lot of friends with a "B" last name!
It is such a fun tradition! We are so blessed to have great friends who come every year, even though we are back-to-back champs! Thanks to all that came, and those who didn't we missed you! We are already discussing next year!

Yeah Scotland!! Aye lady. Way to go. Show no mercy. Not in our house. We invited you over for a butt whooping and you came. We came! We saw! And we beat up on you! Ok enough. Now, the question of the ages. Shaun what does a “Scotsman wear under his kilt”? Never mind I don’t want to know. Congrats on the annihilation. Where was Cooper in all those pictures?
How FUN!!! Too bad I was pregnant this year. That would've been a blast!! P.S. Chad and I might end up in Conroe by January.
ok- so sad we missed the olympics...but i bet everyone else was thanking their lucky stars. don't rest so easy though, we will be back again..and you know what that means- a total sweep of all events.

Looks like so much fun! So sorry that we weren't able to make it and completely kick everyone's trash. We will for sure make it next year when we have some sort of stability in our life...
