Here is Coop trying to do a monkey face...he hasn't figured out all the moves yet...pull the ears, puff the cheeks, cross the eyes...he's getting closer. But he can finally do a somersault on his own now. He calls it a flip. We're so proud!
I went to a doctor's appointment on Monday and apparently I overdid it on Easter. At my appointment everyone got all nervous about my too much fluid/contracting problem. The doctor sent me over to the hospital to be monitored for a couple of hours. I pretty much freaked out. Shaun took a group of kids on a field trip and was downtown. His only mode of transportation was the bus with all the kids on it. I am really glad I didn't have to deliver w/o him. They did discharge me and I am resting at home. It was a good wake-up call for us both to take the bedrest thing more seriously!
This baby girl is can't wait to get here! I guess she is as excited as we are...she keeps trying to come early. This Wednesday is the 36 week mark, so three more days and were in more of a safe zone. It is not ideal to have a baby 4 weeks early, but at least the docs aren't as worried with the lung and eating issues. We're still aiming for May 7th though! So Maggie.....CHILL OUT GIRL, We'll hang out soon enough!
I was excited to make it to my baby shower this Saturday. We had it at my house which was convenient. It was so much fun. I have wonderful family and friends who are so thoughtful and generous! Here are some pics of the day. A big thanks to Andrea for hostessing and to Amanda for helping wih the special touches! I have some amazing fristers (friends/sisters).

We are so excited for Maggie to arrive. I have a bag of stuff for you, I have just been pretending to be on bed rest so I have been too lazy and have not sent it!!:) We hope that you stay well the rest of the time and that Maggie can wait a couple of weeks...almost there! Love you. Chris and Mandi
Maybe MJ's mommy should be better at stayng down. I bet you still do too much. Love the pics of "Cooperman". I still think he would make a great super hero.
Are you laying down right now? Tisk, tisk. :)
Hey, I had a lady up here have a c-section 4 weeks early because she has ignored Dr. and has had 5+ c-sections... anyway, they did an amnio one day, and had the baby the next because her lungs her good. Girls are resilient! My sister had her second 5 weeks early and he was "okay"- no lung troubles, but he was a little slow with how to nurse. Everything will work out alright, and honestly, you need to keep your camera on you at all times, because a shot of a bus full of kids coming to the hospital would be awesome.
Hang in there Maggie!!! The food looks delish, wish I could have come! Sisters should live close...It should be a rule!
What a cute baby shower. Cute decorations and the food looks yummy too...making me hungry. Can't wait to see pics of Miss Maggie...did you know Lily's middle name is Jane? Love it!
