Potpourri

Mystery
So the doorbell rang and I opened the door to the UPS man driving away. There was a huge box on our doorstep with a double stroller in it. I was so excited! Someone bought us a stroller that will fit both of our children. The only problem is it came in the manufacturer's box with just the UPS sticker on the outside. Who is it from? That is the mystery. It is a little weird to call people and say, "hey, did you buy us a really expensive gift?" Unless it's the right person, that's kinda of awkward.

Bird
My sister Amanda and her husband have had a little bird problem lately. One made it's nest and laid eggs in the wreath on their door. It has flown in their house twice (for the whole story check her blog The Clyde Family). Well the other day Andrea, another sister, was walking out my front door and was attacked by a bird. It went like this...Andrea walks to door and opens it. She screams and ran back inside and says, "A bird just attacked me and threw sticks at me!" Sure enough I go outside and a bird is making it's nest on the ledge above my door. Andrea scared it and it dropped the sticks it was carrying and flew off, squawking. Amanda's advice...get rid of it before it lays the eggs...nothin but trouble.

Laughter
Shaun was trying to catch a fly the other night with his hands. Cooper thought it was hysterical! He was laughing so hard it made it all of us laugh. Shaun finally caught it (kinda gross and at the same time very skillful). We thought it was dead and it started moving again...lots of laughter again. I love this kid. He's slowly becoming himself again. I am so glad. He's been a little out of sorts since the baby came home...tantrums and general bratiness. He's in recovery I hope! The sound of his laughter makes me so happy.

Sunbathing
Mags has a little bit of jaundice. So every day she sunbathes for 10-15 minutes. Since we have solar screens on our windows we have to open the door so she can get her rays (the vitamin D from the sunlight helps to rid her body of the bilirubin). Here is a picture of our bathing beauty.
