The other day Cooper was headed to his gma's house, with his dad and sister, so I could get some grad school work done. I urged him to go to the car several times. Then he finally moved slowly that way and said, "You go with me." I explained I wasn't going. And he replied, "Well can't you just help your little friend into the car?" It sounded so sarcastic and funny.
My baby girl turned 7 months today…sniff, sniff. She is growing waayyyy to fast for my liking. She can sit very well now and grabs everything. She has even started the backward crawl. When she starts, I immediately pick her up and say “No, no!” J/K But I could wait another month or two before the crawling starts.
She got her first cold/sickness last week. Although it was hard, I was glad to be off work and be with her. She is such an easy going, content baby. She tried so hard to be happy even though you could tell she felt awful.
She laughs and “talks” all the time. She has said “da, da, da, da”…but not in Shaun’s general direction…so it doesn’t count. You’ll catch me several times a day in her face saying “ma, ma, ma ,ma”…with no results. We played this game with Cooper too. And the winner was….”light!” He said light first. Not mom or dad…so this is an important win for team mom!
I have an awesome husband who takes great care of all of us! He got up on Black Friday and got all of the Christmas decorations out of the attic. Then he put all the fall/Thanksgiving stuff away. Shauny-boy did a fantastic job on the lights…our house looks professionally done. And we have four snowmen in our front yard….so cute. I love the decorations and I love the Holidays. Now if you drive by, you may not notice our house in the glare of the Griswalds next door. Christmas threw up in our neighbor’s yard. But please take some time to admire Shaun’s work…if you drive by!
I accidently started a little side business. I have been painting name signs for teachers and friends as gifts. Then some people approached me to make some for profit. It is really fun and it is incredibly soothing to be creative and paint. I am impressed with how much money I have made w/o even trying. It's totally word of mouth, so of course I am incredibly flattered when someone asks me to make one. Here are a few. The Black and white one is probably my favorite. I think I'll do the name in a pink or red cursive font.

Man o man, those are some pretty kids mam. Can't wait to see em. Signs are awesome. How about some pics of the outside lights of your hosue and the Grisswolds. I love me some puddgy babies.
Your signs look great! And that baby girls of yours... she is so cute. Cooper has a friend in the potty talk department- although Ed's is milder and more annoying than funny- he learned from a 7 year old at a birthday party "Happy Birthday to Toilet!" At least he didn't remember the poop and pee. I love how if Cooper turns you into mommy then you have to say No. How observant. Are you guys coming out for Christmas?
You are so talented! Love those signs!
