Update

We have been crazy busy at our house chasing kids, coaching, working, blah, blah, blah. February flew by...so here's an update!
The busiest of all of us (or at least away from home the most) has been Shaun. He has been in playoffs for basketball and started baseball. There was one week when he was gone every single night. He surprised me with flowers and a sweet note. It was such a nice gesture and it is wonderful to be appreciated. It's no fun to be a single mom! Cooper is almost 3 and a half going on sixteen. He asserts his independence pretty much all the time. I don't know why they call it terrible twos, it should be terrible threes!

Maggie is 10 months old and is still an absolute joy. She is playful, smiley, and happy almost all the time. So when she is not we know something is wrong. She looks so much like my Gammy here, it is unreal!

She took her own, sweet time getting teeth. I was afraid it might never happen. She broke a tooth just a few days before ten months and then one more yesterday. What a champ!

She chews on anything and puts everything in her mouth. So it is a challenge to keep the floor clean and free from small things that she WILL locate and eat (or at least taste).

Cooper is busy, busy all the time. He loves his new train table and blocks. Drea asked me the other day what I thought he'd do for a career. I think engineer...he loves to build and see how things work. He also loves to destroy so maybe demolition is an option too.

I love to dress Maggie! It really has been a lifelong dream to have this living doll. The dresses make the crawling hard but she figures ways around it!

The other day Shaun put the kids in the car and went back in to grab something. When he returned they were holding hands and talking. It was so cute!

We took a family trip to the park the other day. Texas has had some beautiful weather lately and we decided to take advantage. The kids loved it!

Man he is a cute kid!

Cooper has developed a love for video games. Specifically, he loves Mario Cart which he calls his race car game. The other day he got in a lot of trouble and got his privilege taken away. You would have thought we asked him to cut off a pinky finger. He was devastated! It kind of freaks me out how much he loves it and how sad he is when his time is up.
Our baby girl is creeping. She loves to crawl and gets anywhere she needs to now. She loves to creep along the couch or anything else low enough to grab. And how cute is she in this skirt and tights? Big booty, big booty, ah, ya!
