My thought on blogging...

I started this blog mainly for my parents. I wanted them to see weekly updates of their 8th grandchild. Then it became this phenomenon. I had no idea how many people blogged and/or would start blogging. Some of the feedback that I have gotten is that some of my faithful readers want to hear more than just stuff about Cooper. I wasn't aware there was anything else! Hahaha. He is the most amazing, humbling, difficult, rewarding, challenging, joyful experience. I don't remember what I used to do with all my time. I don't remember what I used to dream about. I don't remember what I used to daydream about. I don't ever remember being this happy. Motherhood has truly changed me in the most significant ways.

That said, yes there are other things going on in the Stanton home. I do have another boy to brag about. Shaun led his baseball team to the district championship! In February, he wrapped up his basketball season too. They also were district champs. And this is only his first year! He has had a blast coaching and is really great at it. His final game was last week and now Coop and I have him all to ourselves again...we are thrilled.

I am so excited for summer. I have a long list of to do's and some goals I would like to accomplish. I want to become an advanced user of photoshop, I want to clean out my craft/crap room and sell anything I haven't used in the last year. I want to sew a quilt for Cooper. I want to organize my house. I want to hold at least two Stampin-up workshops (I am a demonstrator). I want to lose ten pounds...the list continues. And all this needs to happen during nap time...it'll be a challenge, but I am so excited to see how it all goes. When you see me, make me accountable...ask me if I've checked anything off the list!

Our plans this summer also include one family trip to CA to see Grammy and Papa, two weeks of summer camps, Shaun has some baseball and basketball camps, and a lot of time catching up on sleep and time with Coop!

Oh to get off work everyday at 3pm, to have the summers and every major holiday off...a week at Easter and two weeks at Christmas...do you even work? Can it be considered a job?? Just kidding, truth is I'm just jealous! Can't wait to see you this summer!

We love to hear what else is going on in your lives. Just you don't forget to picutize and videomatize your updates.

Picutize and videomatize??? Are these new BLOGGER words?...
and what was that other vocabulary word you mentioned on the way home from the temple last week that I have already forgotten, Papa Randy?

Aimee-

I love to hear what else is going on with your family too. But I do love seeing Cooper. He is definitely the star of your blog. I never hear what else is going on...Chris never tells me. Anyway, it sounds like you are going to have a blast this summer. Enjoy!
